London Eclipse Cheerleading Data Retention and Deletion Policy
London Eclipse Cheerleading is committed to the safeguarding and well being of its members and has measures in place for storing its member data. This policy will outline how data is stored and deleted and the time period that London Eclipse Cheer will keep hold of its members data.
London Eclipse Cheer only holds necessary data on its members. When a individual applies or enquires about a product or service that we offer they will complete a contact or tryout form or send an email or message. Information provided by individuals may be retained by London Eclipse Cheer until the end of the current cheer season at which point it will be deleted or destroyed. Individuals contact details and names may be retained for the purpose of mailing list.
Upon joining the team members complete numerous forms including (but possibly not limited to ) Emergency contact form, Medical form, Data consent, photography and video consent form, uniform order form, liability form and in some cases competition contract form. This data is stored in a password protected file accessible only to applicable staff when required.
Further data we may collect throughout the season includes booking for competitions and events including information such as how you plan to travel. This data will be stored in an encrypted password protected file accessible only by London Eclipse Cheerleading staff when required.
Data deletion and retention
We discourage the retention of data for longer than is required. All personal data will be updated deleted / destroyed by us at the end of the season (whichever is applicable) other than contacts and names which may be added to our contact database or mailing list and any pre consented photographs or videos used for training or marketing purpose. Members will be informed prior to data deletion giving individuals a chance to change their mind. Data can be deleted at any time by emailing
